I'm driving my dad's Audi Q7 Quattro and for the life of me can't figure out how to turn off the air conditioner. There's no off switch! There is also no snow flake or down arrow keys in the car

we are going to go look at some cars today. I like the ratings of the Dodge Caravan and The Kia Sedona, but not so sure about a mini van. YEsterday i saw that the Audi Q7 has high ratings too, so thats the car me and my fiance decided on. How is it? Does it drive good? Safe? Is is easy for short people to drive? (LOL I am 5'2) Any thoughts on it are welcome. We are going to go look at them tonight.

A: To answer your question, the vehicle is awesome....But it is not even in the same catagory with the Caravan or Kia. The Audi will blow both of them away as far as comfort, ride, quality, safety, etc. And, of course, Price!!! Good luck.

Q: How do you remove battery on Audi Q7?
It appears that the battery is under the driver seat, so how do you remove the seat?

A: This is a problem with many modern cars that have the battery somewhere else than the engine bay. My BMW 525i has the battery stowed away under the backseat, and I cannot change it myself. It's just to well hidden. It sounds like you have to take your Q7 to the shop.

A: Hi there, Great choice of vehicle, I have a Q7 myself. You need to experiment with the settings on the Bose stereo for a while before to get it "dialed in". I also find it makes a big difference if you are using CD's that you have burned yourself, the sound quality is sometimes inconsistent on the MP3 files used to create the CD and this greatly effects the sound quality from the stereo. As for the Coke in the MMI control panel, the Coke has most likely not gotten past the rubber membranes under the surface of the buttons on the panel, but any that you were not able to clean up will have crystallized and the buttons are most likely sticking, causing performance issues. Bring it into the dealer, have them remover the top panel and clean it with isopropyl alcohol. This will clean the residue off the underside of the buttons and most likely solve your problem. Just make sure they allow for enough time for the alcohol to "flash off" before they put it back together. If the spill was really big (like the whole can) it may have gotten into the control module itself. This will be costly to repair, as Warranty does not cover these kinds of issues. Best of luck.

i bought a new AUDI Q7, 2007 model, it was fully loaded, with the latest security systems installed in ..alarm..key code...immobilizer..etc..well after exactly a month thieves were able to steal it in broad day light ..one minute it was in the parking...30 minutes after it desapeard pls. any detailed clear answer will help thanks

A: Inside job, or they had a signal analyzer which they used when you used your remote. That used to be done with cell phones 10 years ago.

A: i believe the H2 only has 5 the H3 may have a rear 3rd row but im not sure both the Q7 and the XC90 can have 7 seats.

A: I believe the Q7 came out in late 2006 early 07. Typically Audi changes looks in 2-3 year time frames. Check edmunds.

A: You are completely correct, Mercedes did introduce Blutec to the industry and they are the originators. However what they created is remarkably good for the environment especially with the AdBlue additive which is added to the exhausts of Blutec vehicles and instead of nitrogen oxides being released the additive converts them into harmless nitrogen (and water). But back to the original question DaimlerChrysler made the decision at the 2006 LA Auto Show that this new technology would be shared with Audi and VW being that they are two of the biggest diesel manufacturers in the world.
