Q: Is there an Audi dealership in Colombo?
Any idea how much an Audi A5 or and Audi TT would be in Sri Lanka?
Do you know where the dealership is in Colombo?
Thanks for the replies.
A: Colombo Audi. I bought my A8 from there. i am just kidding.
you will have to import it with double taxes. i bought mine three years ago, it cost me a lot. and its hard to find parts now. good luck.
Q: is it true you can only service an audi at a audi dealership since you have to unlock parts?
is it special tools or what? or is the guy pulling my leg
A: sounds like someone was giving you the run around. Nothing needs to be "unlocked", just sometimes there are special tool you need to services some parts. You can usually buy these or just rig something to get around them. If this guy was at some local garage i wouldnt go back there as he doesnt know what hes talking about.
Q: audi a3 problem and checkup at audi dealership. prices?
i recently added audi coolant to my a3 myself as i saw the coolant indicator going off. i added the coolant to the 2nd line (the line about 3/4 inch above the minimum line, does not say it's max)
in the past few days, as i back my car out the driveway, i see small moisture spots on the ground which was under my engine/ coolant tank area. today the spot on the ground is bigger than it has been before. would it be because i added too much coolant?
would i need to take my car into the audi dealership? i scheduled one tomorrow morning.
my car will have around 32.5K miles on it when i bring it in, how much are they going to charge me? for what i'm going to do tomorrow? how much if there's nothing wrong with my car and how much if there is? i'm not asking for exact amounts just estimates.
i am the second owner and it has a 4 year/ 50K mile warranty. about the coolant i did fill it when the engine was warm/hot. i just parked the car and opened the hood. i felt really warm leaning over my engine.
A: it sounds like you may actually have a coolant leak as far as what it will cost noone can say with out knowing what is actually wrong. It shouldn't cost more than 40 - 60 dollars just to have it checked out and if you do the work with that shop they should waive the diagnostic fee depending on how much trouble it is to find the problem and if the car is still under warranty it shouldn't cost you anything
Q: ways to turn off my audi a4 ('99) check engine light without going to the dealership?
my 99 audi A4 has had the check engine light on for a year (i know, i know..) is there any way for me to turn it off without going to the dealership? i have the computer software etc
A: lift up hood and unplug battery for a minute and it will be gone. only bad thing is it will reset your presets on your radio and have to reset it and clock.

Q: Do you have to get Pentosin from the Audi dealership? Anyone know where to get it elsewhere A.S.A.P.?
Pentosin - Hydraulic Mineral Fuild for Power Steering. Thanks.
A: 2 sources to get it from, Blauparts or ECS tuning. Difference in price is a few pennies and whatever shipping costs. The cost at the dealership for the Audi fluid is $17-22.00, but comes in a small 355mL 12oz bottle compared to the 1L = 1000mL or 33oz bottle of pentosin.
It says pentosin is equivalent to part #G 002 000 but the Audi part # is G 002 012.
Q: i am considering buying a audi a4 from a friend?
i want to know, will i have to only get it maintained at an audi dealership and will the maintenance be more expensive than my altima? i mean for tune up and oil changes? also i was told the car only takes premium gas is that true?
A: dude do not buy that car from yo bud .... quickest way to get rid of da bud and get a lemon of a ride ;...............
Q: Buying a car from an Audi dealership. Seen it before it went into bodyshop, needs a lot of resprays...?
It was traded in and priced at £14950. Seems a good price for the model and spec it includes. However the car needs a lot of resprays including front and rear bumper, NS rear quarter, possibly doors as marks as if both doors have been opened into something, possibly NS front wing as noticed a mark there, and anything else. Interior wise, it's ok. Do I go ahead? Will Audi respray it to good quality or will it never really be the same? Should I be worried? It's a beautiful car, the only thing letting it down is the mistreated paintwork.
It's an 06 plate, 2 owners (Audi garage as showroom car, hence the really good spec and a lady in London), 37,000 miles, 2.0 TDI S Line S Tronic with a lot of optional upgrades... it's has FASH and it's semi auto so I'm not too concerned about the engine...
Hi Steve - I should clarify, the respray and repair works are being carried out by Audi before I buy the car at their expense, the same as any other used car sold on their forecourts. As for the woman, I have no idea. She paid for the car with cash on debit card. Not associated to any companies as far as I can see.
Limiting Factor - I would but this car is such high spec with so many upgrades, it's not possible to find one for a similar price. Hence the question.
A: There's a saying in the motor trade, "They've all had paint!"
If the work's being done by an Audi dealership and they're prepared to honour Audi's 10 year anti corrosion warranty afterwards (ask them just to be sure & get it in writing), I wouldn't worry about it.
Q: Cheap & Good Audi Service in greater Pittsburgh area?
Hi,
I live in Pittsburgh and recently I purchased a used Audi. Unfortunately, the engine has a problem and I need to repair it. I don't want to pay a fortune by going to the official Audi dealership.
Does anyone know if there is any independent mechanic who is good in repairing Audis and is not expensive in the greater Pittsburgh area?
Any help appreciated.
A: check in your yellow pages and call a mechanic
Q: Cost to replace driver's window on my Audi A4?
Does anyone no how much it should cost to replace the regulator and motor on my driver's side window? I got an estimate from the Audi dealership and it seemed high.
Thanks
A: Best bet is to find a local scrap yard, the very often have alot of car parts and is generally easy to repair things like that yourself because once you have the interior panel off the door everything is accessible. Works out alot cheaper because alot of the money you pay at garages is for labour.
Q: Im buying an Audi from a used dealership...Wat all things should i look for.?
Im kind of hesitant cause its a 2003 a4 with 83,000 mile for 8 Grand. Im gettin a mechanic 2 check it out for me.. but are there other things things that i should ask about or inspect the car for??
A: Scratches, dents, check the ash tray, every lil squeak and rattle you have to question. Why are you buying from a potlot anyway. Go to a real dealership that sells a brand name, They have used cars too and all used cars have been safety and checked!
Q: Can a BMW dealership do repair work on an Audi?
A: They can...the question is will they? Normally their guarantee is only for their own vehicles.
Q: How do u unlock an Audi A4 car radio?
my car radio is saying safe and b4 i went to the audi dealership and the charge me 125 dollars. iwanted to know if anyone knew anything about this.
A: You are being ripped off $125 dollars is a ridiculous amount to pay. What it means is the radio needs coding a 4 didget code if you are lucky you should have this with the hand book for the car.Own an work on Audi in the UK.
Q: I am trying to view a BMW dealership site but some pages will not open I have tried Audi which is the same?
A: Check your browser settings. you may need to download a new version of flash.
